Audio, Visual & Home Theatre • Headphone cable woes

Hey guys. Probably a dumb question but I'm dumb about this stuff and getting really frustrated trying to figure it out.

I have the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones. My rabbit decided to bite through the cable so I need to replace it. I bought this cable from pbtech as it states that it works for any 2.5mm female input headphones:

Spoiler alert: It doesn't. As the HD560S uses a "locking mechanism" the cable won't actually fit into the headphones. PBtech also sell this cable:

This does appear to have the locking mechanism but after some research apparently there are two types of locking mechanism and since this doesn't state that it works with the 560S then I have no idea if it will work or not. I'm sure plenty of people here have experience with PBTech returns and will know why I wanna avoid that process like the plague.

So does anyone know if this cable will work and if not if there are any suitable replacement cables available in NZ?
