Depends how it works, some people think it might just be an app for the ps5 that streams VR games from the PC to the PS5, like a steamlink, which sounds shit imo
And what if it's just a driver that allows the headset to work with PCVR or something, and then none of the headsets special features like unless the game is coded for the headset, like foveated rendering, eye tracking, rumble, dynamic triggers etc and then it's basically just a quest 3 with worse lenses
I'm not expecting it it to work as well as it does on the PS5 I guess is my point, I would be very surprised if it worked well on PC and all its features were usable and it could play all the games. I just don't see Sony putting in the effort
Sony could also just be trolling - because some modders are already working on getting the headset working on PC and perhaps Sony just put out this message to discourage the modders from doing any further work and then in 1 or 2 years Sony will come out and say, oh yeah we're not doing that anymore, sorry suckers
